WST visit the Opal Coast

24 October 2014

At WST, we provide exceptional tours, expertly delivered. To do that, we believe it’s important that our team spend time in our featured destinations. This week, the team have visited the Opal Coast as part of a staff familiarisation visit. Adjacent to Calais, with 120 miles of fine sandy beaches, elegant towns and pretty little fishing villages alive with character, the Opal Coast is a wonderful introduction to France, French culture and language. Our Twitter followers have been able to see what school groups can expect on an enrichment trip to this beautiful destination.

WST school tours to the Opal Coast offer students an opportunity to get a taste of French culture. With wonderfully traditional French restaurants dotted along the coast, a visit to any would be a great introduction to French cuisine and opens up a new world of taste for students. Take a trip to the Nausicaa Sea Life Centre to discover the ocean’s treasures or plan a trip to Chocolaterie de Beussent to taste some of the coast's more indulgent delicacies.

During the trip, there is a great range of accommodation, from family run seaside hotels to purpose built accommodation centres with facilities tailored to suit the requirements of school groups.
