London offers history in abundance; architecture ancient and modern art, food from around the world, theatre, museums, galleries and sites of religious significance. This capital city really has it all. And with a huge range of excursions available you may find that one school trip to London isn’t enough! With so much to see and do it is impossible to be bored in London and having tasted London life once, we feel sure your students will want to return again and again.

Follow our simple steps to prepare for your last minute trip:

1.       Plan

Don’t worry, our specialist team of experts will plan everything you need to ensure your trip goes smoothly. We’ll plan a scheduled itinerary of activities to meet your classroom’s learning objectives. We never get bored of looking for those added extras to make your tour even better!

2.       Classroom preparation

From our many years of experience we know that students gain more from school trips if they can relate it to their classroom lessons. Try and develop specific classroom activities beforehand so thatpupils understand the objective of the trip. This also works well for post-trip activities.

3.       Student checklist

  • Remind students that the same school rules apply whilst on a school trip. If they bring any valuable items with them they could get lost along the way.
  • If the trip is outdoors make sure they bring along an appropriate coat.
  • Dependant on lunch plans, let all parents know whether they need to send in a packed lunch or whether there will be refreshments provided.

4.       Be prepared for anything!

Sometimes unforeseen circumstances such as the weather or traffic can affect your trip. Make sure your pupils are dressed appropriately for the weather forecasted and keep an eye on any forecasts in the days leading up to your trip.

As part of delivering our exceptional tours, we regularly check the news for travel updates making coach drivers aware of anything that could affect their journey time for example weather or traffic conditions.  We’re also on hand 24 hours whilst you’re away on your trip, so there’s always someone happy to help.

 5.       Enjoy!

We know how passionate you are about making your tour a success, which is why we’re here to deal with all the organisation of your trip and allow you to concentrate on your students.
