At WST, we provide exceptional tours, expertly delivered. To do that we believe it’s important that our team spend time in our featured destinations. This week, Paul and Duncan have visited Iceland as part of a staff familiarisation visit, sharing their comments with the team back in the UK. Our Twitter followers have been able to see a magnificent side of Iceland and what school groups can expect on a geography or science trip to this fascinating country.

WST school tours to Iceland offer students the opportunity to experience the country nicknamed the Land of Fire and Ice. The country lives up to its name through the numerous glaciers and volcanoes around the country. It has spectacular waterfalls, dramatic coastlines and provides countless opportunities to witness geothermal activity, offering a truly unique experience.

During the trip, groups can either stay in Reykjavik or inland; closer to the daily excursion options, including the Golden Circle and South Shore Days, the Westman Islands and possible sightings of the Northern Lights.

You can read the complete summary of the visit to Iceland below.
