Could your school win WST’s class postcard of the week?

Thursday January 2, 2014

For the team at WST, there’s no greater reward for organising school trips than seeing how much students enjoy their time away from the classroom discovering the world’s most inspiring attractions.

Beyond making our jobs that much more enjoyable though, feedback from schools also enables the WST team to recognise the attractions that really leave a lasting impression on classes, ensuring our trips live up to teachers’ high standards.

To share these travel tips with other schools, this year WST are launching a class postcard of the week series. Every week, we’ll be turning one class trip photo into a virtual postcard on Twitter, featuring comments from teachers on the highlights of their visit.

Has there been a play that your students just couldn’t stop talking about, or did seeing thebattlefields of Ypres really put wartime history lessons into perspective for your students? Did time away from home give your class a new sense of cultural awareness, or was there a museum that really stood out from the rest?

If you’ve discovered a destination you think other teachers should know about, we’d like to hear from you.

Send in your thoughts to WST on Twitter with a photo from your trip and your students could become the stars of our first ever class postcard of the week.
