If you are looking for a new type of activity trip that allows flexibility and choice, will challenge your pupils with safe, on-site activities whilst enjoying the sights of the surrounding areas then this new trip is just for you. A perfect combination of activity, education and fun.


This trip is ideal for Year 7 & 8 students who missed out on their bonding trips at the end of primary school and important transition experiences. This experience will give them vital experiences away from home that will help them to bond, build their confidence and support their wellbeing.


The key to this tour package is that you can tailor make your trip to suit your needs and budget. You can choose from 2 days to 5 days duration, tailoring how many days you would like dedicated to the on-site activities and off-site excursions. You can even select from a wide range of activities, so that you can choose what suits your students.

On-site activity packages

All YHA in-house activities are delivered by trained, DBS checked staff who are skilled at leading engaging residentials that are tailored to meet the needs of your group.
Designed to support the curriculum of subjects such as PE, Geography, Literacy and PSHE, to name a few, the activities can support all your cross-curricular needs. Activities you can choose from include orienteering, archery, fire lighting, team challenges, shelter building, river dipping, get cooking, bushcraft and even gadget design.

Discovery Activity Package

Create your own package to choose activities that support the focus for your group. For example, team challenges, shelter building and orienteering can be built into your programme to support a focus on communication. History Package

Alex Rider Mission Briefing

Based on the bestselling Alex Rider books by Mark Anthony Horowitz, your students will become Special Agents for 2 days. Their mission will include orienteering, team building archery and an assault course.
