Whitby Abbey

The monastic ruins of Whitby Abbey dominate the headland, and offer fantastic views overlooking the historic resort of Whitby. Afterwards the town of Whitby is a great location for free time on the beach, shopping and eating delicious fish and chips.

Robin Hoods Bay

A school trip to Robin Hood's Bay offers the perfect location for your pupils to explore a truly amazing coastline. Walk along the shoreline, hunt for fossils, try rock pooling or just spend time on the beach - an easy, breezy way to learn about geography and nature.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway

One of the world’s greatest heritage railway experiences with thrills and education at its heart. On your school trip to North York Moors, the Railway is a must-see attraction, and one of the earliest and most historic lines in the UK. Just climb on board a working steam or heritage diesel train with your class, and experience 24 miles of Yorkshire’s amazing scenery.

Dracula Story

Did you know that Dracula has a connection to Whitby? A must-see on English trips, the Dracula Story uses animated scenes, electronic special effects and live actors to explore the connections between the spooky villain and the seaside town.

Sealife Scarborough

On your school trip to Sealife Scarborough, get up close and personal to over 20 adorable Humboldt Penguins in their unique walk-through home, Penguin Island. New for 2020 is the Rainforest Advernture, where you can immerse yourself in the world of creepy crawlies, lizards and rainforest critters. At the Seal Hospital your pupils will learn about the vital rehab work that the centre carries out for seals, injured or lost on this stretch of coastline.

Eden Camp

This museum covers Britain from 1930’s, allowing visitors to travel back in time to Wartime Britain, experiencing the story, sights, sounds and smells of World War II.

Conisborough Castle

Immerse your class in the world of medieval castles, as you explore the unique cylindrical keep on a school tour of Conisborough Castle. Students will be encouraged to imagine what life was like for the wealthy Warenne family and the people who worked at the castle, compared to our lives today.
