Performance Workshops with West End Workshops

Run by experienced professionals, our wide range cover a variety of skills and in many cases can be focused on a performance you are seeing as part of your trip. Most workshops end with a Q&A with a West End/Touring cast member. We can happily create a workshop just for you, just ask us! (90 mins unless stated).

Note by Note: A unique experience ran by a West End Musical Director as the group learn to act through your choice of song, before performing it to a cast member from the show itself!

Song and Dance: Work with a pianist and cast member from a show you are seeing, and rehearse a song & choreography to match.

West End 101: A popular and versatile workshop. Students are taught, in a fun and relaxed environment, with skills and techniques used by professional actors inspired by the themes of the show they’re seeing.

Make a Scene: Work from a scripted scene from a chosen play, book or show, and learn to bring the text to life in a truthful, imaginative way. Explore acting methods, vocal techniques and character development designed to encourage bold and creative acting choices.

Theatre Improv: Perfect for fun and high energy groups! After physical and vocal warm ups, students stay active through team building and improvisational games designed to heighten focus, creativity and sensitivity to others.

Shakespeare 2000: Looking at imagery, tempo, timing, emphasis, body language and practical presentation this workshop will breathe life into scenes from the play students are seeing or studying

Stage Combat: Students will learn about the relationship between acting and fight choreography.  Discover how fights are choreographed and hone your collaboration skills whilst creating your own combat
