No performing arts trip to London is complete without at least one of our fantastic 90 minute workshops. Run by experienced professionals, in venues such as Pineapple Studios and 'Dance Works', our wide range covers a variety of skills, and in many cases can be focused on a show you are seeing as part of your trip. Run by world class dance teachers, these Ballroom and Latin dance sessions have a ‘Strictly Come Dancing Theme’ and take place at the state of the art studios belonging to the shows winning professional Karen Hardy. Your students can take part in Lively Action Workshops, that are tailored to the curriculum and explore Shakespeare’s texts practically as a play, rather than as the written word.
Step inside this faithful recreation of William Shakespeare’s iconic Globe theatre. Imagine it as it would have been at the centre of London’s notorious Bankside entertainment district.
Throughout the year their expert guides bring this extraordinary open-air theatre to life in a 50 minute guided tour, with colourful stories of the 1599 Globe, the reconstruction process in the 1990s and how the building works today as an imaginative and experimental theatre space.
