Brunel's SS Great Britain

Brunel's SS Great Britain is one of the most important historic ships in the world. When she was launched in 1843 she was called 'the greatest experiment since the Creation'. It is also an ideal location for a school trip out of the classroom. The historic ship, Dockyard Museum and beneath the ‘sea’ in the Dry Dock capture the imagination with lots to see, hear, touch and even smell!

Aerospace Bristol

Beginning in the earliest days of powered flight, a school trip to Aerospace Bristol takes visitors on a fascinating journey through aviation history. It’s a journey through two World Wars, the Space Race, the Cold War and on to the modern day, where visitors discover the latest technologies of today’s aerospace industry.
