About this trip

Barcelona is full of opportunities for Art and Design Students to explore the work of artists that lived within the city. During your Barcelona School Trip you can explore the Catalan city centre and see works from the likes of Gaudi and Picasso, as well as exploring the coast where you can find the work of Dali. Benefit from a Tour Manager so you can concentrate on your students

From only £5 per person per day

When you visit Barcelona you can add on a tour manager as added support throughout your tour. Your tour manager will:

  • Be with your group all day
  • Liaise at all the attractions where you have reservations
  • Navigate you and your group around the city on foot and public transport
  • Assist in purchasing tickets for any additional visits
  • Be there to provide extra support in the case of an emergency
  • Assist with any translation needed

  • Casa Batlló
    Casa Batlló is one of Antoni Gaudi’s masterpieces. Hidden behind the exceptional modernista façade are refined architectural details and the insight of an artistic legend – providing an opportunity to explore the life of Gaudi and his work.
  • Casa Mila – La Pedrera
    La Pedrera is the largest civil building designed by Antoni Gaudi. The apartment block, constructed between 1906 and 1910 is the last project he completed before starting the famous La Sagrada Familia. La Pedrera is instantly recognisable as Gaudi – inspiring students with his quirky and innovative designs.
  • The Joan Miró Foundation
    The Joan Miró Foundation was one of the first contemporary museums in Barcelona providing students with an opportunity to learn more about the work of Miró and his work. The simplicity of his creations inspires and motivates students of all ages.
  • Museu D’art Contemporani (Macba)
    The vast white Museu D’Art Contemporani is a temple to modern art. There is always a variety of exhibitions on at the museum but has regular exhibitions from Antoni Tàpies, Miquel Barceló and a host of other contemporary artists.
  • Museu Nacional D’art De Catalunya (MNAC)
    This museum holds a vast collection of Catalan art, from Romanesque and Gothic through to Renaissance and Modern Art. Some artists that are featured at this museum are Diego Velázquez, El Grecco, Picasso, Gaudi and Dali.
  • Fundació Antoni Tàpies
    The Fundació was created in 1984 by Antoni Tàpies to promote the study of modern art. The museum combines the organisation of temporary exhibitions with lectures and film seasons to give students a better understanding of contemporary art and culture. The architecture of the museum alone remains one of the earliest examples of Modernism that combines exposed brick with iron.
  • Dali Theatre Museum – Figueres
    This well-known museum is the final resting place of Salvador Dali and has the biggest collection of his work. It contains a variety of pieces from his career including paintings, sculptures, furniture and 3D collages.
  • Dali Museums
    For students wanting to see more of Dali's work, then you can visit the Gala Dali House in Pubol and Dali’s House in Port Lligat where you will gain a greater understanding of how he lived and worked. Both museums are located in the same region as Figueres. The three museums can be explored in a day’s coach trip – which can be organised by WST.
  • MasterChef Barcelona
    MasterChef Barcelona allows your students to experience the thrill of cooking with your friends in a professional kitchen in Barcelona. Shop, chop, cook, eat and drink real Spanish & Catalan tapas and sangria

  • Las Ramblas Treasure Hunt
    A great way for your students to some free time whilst exploring the Las Ramblas area. Our exclusive, free 90 minute Treasure Hunt along Las Ramblas encourages groups to interact with the street, take photos and have fun together,
  • Port Vell
    Port Vell is located on the harbour and is a recently developed area of Barcelona. It has a great range of shops and tapas restaurants as well as the IMAX cinema and the Aquarium.
  • Imax Cinema
    The IMAX cinema is located in Port Vell and has all the latest films in both Spanish and English.
  • The Magic Fountain Of Montjuic
    One of the highlights of Barcelona is the Magic Fountain of Montjuic that happens every weekend. The display of light, colour and water acrobatics happens at various times of the evening depending on the season – so it is worth checking to see what time the show happens before you go.
  • PortAventura Park
    At Port Aventura Park, you'll visit exotic places such as China, Polynesia, the Far West, México, and Mediterrània. Discover full-on adrenaline rides including the tallest coaster in Europe, splash rides, gentle jungle swings and colourful shows from acrobatics to card tricks and magicians. The range of rides and attractions offers something for everyone.
  • Ferrari Land
    Full of adrenaline, excitement and fun. This is a unique theme park where you can enjoy discover all the secrets behind the legendary Italian brand. The Ferrari Experience includes a simulated ride, cinema experiences that will make you feel like you are inside a Ferrari, free fall tower and bounce back tower thrill rides.
